mentor a student. Speak to a citizens group. Spread the clean water message. We need you. -

We meet once a month at various member cities and towns. We take a plant tour of the host's wastewater facility.
After the tours, we meet up for Lunch/dinner, meeting and a presentation at a conference room, restaurant, catering facility or we even have held them at the wastewater
You do not have to attend both the tour and presentation to receive a contact hour. They are submitted separately for approval. In other words, you may come for the tour
of the facility and receive one contact hour and not stay for the presentation or vice versa, if time will not allow you to attend both. We will also submit CEU approval for
drinking water if there is an interest. Earn your CEU's...Every certified wastewater treatment operator is required by the State of Indiana to obtain 10-20 contact hours over a
period of 2 years. 70% of these hours must be for technical development. At each SIOA meeting, colleagues give educational programs over a variety of wastewater topics.
